I love their glass store front which just floods the entire space with bright light. If you’re looking to get some work done that doesn’t require a ton of sitting time, then Happy Bones is the perfect spot, especially for quick meetings. At Sweatshop, it was easy to fall into the rhythm with the other New Yorkers also there to work the day away. They specialize in flat whites and small breakfast sandwiches – which are the perfect combination by the way. Located in Williamsburg, the Sweatshop Coffee Cafe is an Aussie espresso bar with a clean, minimal interior. They serve breakfast options until 11:30am and a plethora of other sandwiches and small plates for any other part of the day. Not only does Blank Slate offer the necessary coffee drinks to sustain you throughout your work day, but Blank Slate also offers a robust menu of food. When it’s warm out, you can even grab a seat outside in their backyard space. You can grab yourself a pastry and a coffee while working at Brooklyn Kolache Co. They also have 16 beers on tap if that tickles your fancy more.Ī Kolache is a puff pastry traditionally containing either cheese or fruit – and they are incredibly delicious. I am a big sucker for their rustic decor and leather couches. Plus, once you are done for the day, you can stay until happy hour and treat yourself to a glass of wine or beer.ĭescribed as a friendly East Village neighborhood cafe, The Roost offers a really warm, inviting environment where you could happily spend a few hours. I find the chill vibe ideal for work mode. With a mix & match selection of furniture throughout the cafe, Spreadhouse is where you want to go for a relaxed atmosphere. They offer sustainably and responsibly sourced coffee in a warm, gorgeously decorate cafe space. If you are keen on finding a calm, serene atmosphere in which you can stay as productive as possible, check out Irving Farm at one of their locations. I absolutely coming here when I need to escape the confines of my own home for the day. Plus, they have a variety of food available whenever you need a bit of a snack. I can always rely on them to serve delicious, artisanal coffee. A cafe that never fails to serve as the perfect temp office is Bluestone Lane.
